THE ROOM EDITOR
decorating in real life.
IS A NEW WAY TO APPROACH
YOUR HOME DECORATING CHALLENGE
HOW DOES IT WORK?
1 / COLLECT
Together, we explore the room you want to tackle and we go through what you want out of your DecorBlitz experience.
We then gather up and look at all the great stuff you already have to work with, and discuss what can go where, and what items you might need to buy to fill in any gaps.
I snap a few pictures and off I go.
2 / CURATE
I create your customized DecorBlitz plan that includes a detailed list of quick-fixes and ideas – from a colour palette to how to work with the stuff you have.
I also put together a detailed shopping list of things that will fill in any gaps we identified.
I send you the plans and info and you handle the shopping.
3 / COMPLETE
You take your customized DecorBlitz plan, and your new purchases, and do as much or as little of the plan as you want.
And, if you need a helping hand – from hanging a picture (the right way) to mapping out a gallery wall to repositioning furniture and decor – I come back and we work together to make it happen.
I DON'T TEAR DOWN WALLS OR RIP UP FLOORS.
I DON'T MAKE YOU BUY A DESIGNER SOFA.
We work with what is there, I share some smart and sustainable design tricks and we invest in a few affordable additions to turn difficult or awkward rooms into better-functioning and more design-forward spaces.
I will take on your decorating shopping journey – either digitally or on foot – sourcing from a predetermined list or based on a general outline of category, style and budget.

IN the PRESS
NOT YOUR RICH GAY UNCLE'S DECORATOR
My approach to making a room work comes from years spent as a stylist, design journalist, collector, artist, maker, and passionate and savvy shopper.
These skills collide to inform how I see, how I decorate, and how I encourage other people to look at and embrace their possessions and do what they can with the great things they already have. Are you ready to
say hello to decorating in real life?
